Jubilee of Youth 2025

From July 28 to August 4, 2025, Rome will host the Youth Jubilee, a key event in the 2025 Jubilee year of the Catholic Church. This gathering will bring together hundreds of thousands of young people from around the globe to the Italian capital for an enriching experience of faith, filled with moments of prayer, celebrations, testimonies, and meetings with the Pope.

The Head of Civil Protection Department, by DL No. 95 of 2025, is entrusted with identifying, defining, and implementing organizational measures necessary for the smooth execution of the Youth Jubilee, subject to the powers and measures already adopted by the Extraordinary Commissioner. The Head of the Department collaborates with the Extraordinary Commissioner, the Prefect of Rome, the President of the Lazio Region, and the Mayor of Rome, as well as in coordination with other administrations, public and private entities, and relevant companies.
